Does Humour Belong In Music?

"Well, this is embarrassing, came for a photo shoot and the photographer's mother had us remove our boots and socks before we entered the studio..."

"Youse were ol muddy and soaking wet and I'm not mopping the floor a second time this week!"

Does Humour Belong In Music?

Nick: 'Tis with pride that I looketh upon the proud beasts of the land, leaving their mark on these hallowed grounds!

Aaron: Oh fer fucksake, do I have to shovel the grass again?

Random Appreciation Post: My Dying Bride

Something didn't fully click in me with "In Line Of Deathless Kings". Spinning it now, after what feels an eternity... maybe for the first time since 2006/07.

The songs are great - had they managed to insert a little more "rough", a bit more "noise" and by this I actually mean a few more wall-of-sound dynamics, this would have been another masterpiece. It is not a masterpiece but it is a great record albeit within MDB's comfort zone (it is one of the most identifiable comfort zones in metal).

Random Appreciation Post: Nobody Fucks With Bitchwax!

I think it's almost 20 years since I saw The Atomic Bitchwax in Stockholm (Sweden). They were equally as no-nonsense heavy rock last night! A riff behemoth!
